Getting inclusion right is not just about good intentions. It's about understanding where you are, being honest about where the gaps are, and having a clear, practical plan for what happens next.

An inclusion practice audit gives your setting an independent, structured review of your SEND and inclusion provision across five key areas:

  • Policy and legal compliance;
  • Identification and assessment;
  • Provision and reasonable adjustments;
  • Staff knowledge and training;
  • Governance and oversight.

I come in as a fresh pair of eyes, to help you see your provisions through an different lens. I review your documents before the visit, spend time on site talking to your headteacher, SENCo, class teachers and governors, and then produce a written report that reflects where the strengths lie and areas for development.

My report includes a simple Red/Amber/Green (RAG) rating for each domain so your leadership team and governing board can see at a glance what is working well, what needs attention, and what needs urgent action. I aim to offer practical, proportionate to your setting's size and context.

The audit is the beginning of the conversation, not the end of one.

The scope and fee for each audit is agreed in advance. Get in touch to discuss what would work for your setting.
