Training on Legal Obligations around SEND inclusion
Practical sessions for leaders, staff and governors so that they have clarity on their legal duties around SEND inclusion.

The legal framework around SEND and disability is complex and many school staff, including those in leadership positions, have never had it properly explained to them. The Children and Families Act 2014, the Equality Act 2010, the SEND Code of Practice, and the duty to make reasonable adjustments all place specific obligations on schools that many are only partially aware of.
I am a qualified solicitor (non-practising), additionally holding "Levels 1 – 3" IPSEA SEND Law qualifications, which means I can help settings better understand the law in plain language so that it isn't just a box-ticking exercise.
What I offer is training designed to change that. Whether delivered to your whole staff team, your leadership group, your governors, or a combination, it gives people the knowledge they need to understand what the law actually requires, not in abstract terms, but in the context of what it means for day-to-day decisions in your school.
Sessions can be tailored to your audience and your setting's specific training needs. Get in touch to discuss what your setting needs to feel more confident navigating the legal framework.
Training is available as a standalone session or as part of a wider engagement. Fees are based on my standard hourly rate and agreed in advance.
